I want to introduce to you a new series I want to start on this blog. The 7 day series. I want to do blog posts about cool topics in a span of 7 days. A few examples I was thinking are “7 Days of things I love“, “7 days of Random Act of Kindness“, “7 days of Christmas”. I think that I could really build on this series. If you have any ideas please shoot them in a comment below.
Now with out further ado here are my 7 Days of Things I Love.
Our new apartment
Colton and I have moved to the big city! I am absolutely in love with the city life. I love how close we are to anything and everything. Run out of toilet paper? Two blocks down from us is a grocery store. Want a vanilla latte? Starbucks is a 5 minute walk. We don’t have to drive 15 minutes to get to a grocery store anymore! lol The opportunities here are endless and the people that I have met are amazing.
Miss Opal. I have never experienced such loyalty and unconditional love until I got Opal. I got her for myself last October as a birthday present. Since I got her for my birthday present I thought it was only fitting if I named her after my birthstone, Opal. She has been such an amazing best friend. She has her own way of doing things and you can definitely tell that she is an only child. Even though she can be a brat and demolish the TV remote, I couldn’t imagine life without her.
Woohoo! On October 23rd I officially became legal! My actual birthday was on a Wednesday, which is kind of a bummer. Even though it was a Wednesday I was not going to let that ruin my fun! Colton and I went to Matt the Miller’s Tavern and I got my first legal Patron margarita at 2 o’clock in the afternoon! LOL I was done after that and waited until the weekend to party hardy. My birthday weekend was amazing. Some awesome cosmetology friends and I went out downtown which was a blast. Then on Saturday my dad and I won the Halloween contest at Red Roof Bar as Forest Gump & Jenny. Such a great weekend with friends and family. I haven’t drank again after that weekend…

My new bracelet business has been awesome! Check out my last post to learn more of the details. I really have been enjoying creating these for you all! I have had customers from California to Georgia which has been so amazing. I’m spreading the love all over the country and it’s so humbling that random people want to buy my creations. Thank you so much to all of you that have bought from me! I appreciate you all. I wanted to mention that I do have a coupon code going on right now. If you use code GOBBLE20 at checkout you’ll receive 20% off two or more bracelets. Check my latest post or my Etsy Page 🙂 Also follow me on Instagram because I’ll be having Black Friday deals!!
I have been loving cosmetology school! I am going to Aveda Fredric’s Institute and it has been really good to me. I really love what Aveda has to offer and want they stand for. All of their products are at least 75% organic and come from plants. Aveda is one of the best cosmetology schools in Indiana and I am really proud to be learning at this institute. I will be going on the floor and taking clients on December 4th! If you want to get your hair done by me and experience the Aveda rituals message me and we can set something up!
Colton *insert heart eye emoji*
Colton has been such a blessing and I am so grateful that we found each other! He has had an amazing finish to this year with riding dirt bikes. We even have a wall dedicated to all of Coltons plaques. At Iron Man this year he got 1st in his class and 5th overall in the morning race which is INSANE and something to be so proud of. There are more than 900 riders in that race! I’m so proud of all that you’ve done and the amazing accomplishments that you’re going to achieve in the near future. Keep kickin’ ass #702
Christmas is in the air! As you can see Santa is already in the mall. I have already decorated my apartment with all our Christmas stuff. Also, I am listening to Michael Buble “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas“ and making gingerbread cookies at the moment. I believe I was a Elf in my past life because I could celebrate Christmas all year long! And all you Grinch’s remember that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!
